We talked about my adventures in making writing friends here in Austin, and how my American friend who lives in Japan gets ひとつ and ふたつ mixed up even after living there for 10+ years. We kind of had a mix up about the friend who lives in Japan vs the writers here, but we figured it out. It was fun trying to figure out how to communicate that specific difference. And, she taught me a new word 食料品（しょくりょうひん）for groceries, and 乗り物 for automobiles! And a specific phrase なになに　を1つの単語で言うと、なんですか？ very handy phrase! Thanks so much Miki Sensei!

We were talking about our recent activities when a storm blew in here and knocked out the power briefly, so we had an in depth conversation about wind storm vs rain storm vs thunder storm, and I had a power outage last week too, so we discussed that. I had tremendous fun talking with you Miki Sensei!

I always have fun when we talk, this time we talked about various things, the Japan soccer team playing the world cup in Texas, and we read manga about various terms used in Japanese. Thanks Miki Sensei!
