Hi! I'm Şevval, a Turkish Language and Literature teacher. I also hold a certificate in Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language. I'm from İstanbul and currently live here. I'm 26 years old.
I'm aware of how challenging the process of learning a language can be. I'm working on my English and trying to learn Russian.
In my addition to my teaching career, I enjoy taking care of plants, reading books, doing amateur sketches and drawings and cooking. Trying dishes from different cultures is one of my biggest hobbies! Maybe you could share some traditional recipes from your culture with me :) That would make me really happy!عني كمعلّم
I'm a teacher who's both disciplined and kind, always patient and smiling with my students. I truly believe that steady effort and determination lead to success. I keep track of each student's progress and design lessons that fit their needs. I love giving homework because I think it really helps student remember and practice what they've learned.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
In my lessons, i prepare materials tailored to my students interests and needs. I develop their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills simultaneously. I make learning permanent and enjoyable by using visuals, videos, games, and texts. I only speak Turkish during the lessons. This method enables the student to learn the language in a natural way. After lesson, I provide homework or review exercises to reinforce what has been learned. My goal is for my students to able to use the language actively and speak freely. I just had my first Turkish lesson, and it was amazing! Teacher Şevval was so friendly, patient, and well-prepared. Even though we spoke only in Turkish from the start, I felt completely comfortable, not stressed at all! She explained everything clearly and made the lesson fun and encouraging. We practiced conversation, pronunciation, and some basic words and phrases, and I already feel more confident. I’m really looking forward to our next lesson! 🌸

I learned so many new things in today's class, and I pushed myself really hard to speak as much as I could. I’m very happy with how the lesson went, especially because Şevval showed so much patience throughout the class. Her support made me feel comfortable to try, make mistakes, and keep going. I’m really looking forward to the next lesson!

Başım ağrıyor.... hahah.... it was our topic for today, illnesses and medicines. The class is always fun with Şevval, she is so helpful and kind, and today I learned a lot! Looking forward to our next class!
