Hi! I’m Shin, a native Japanese speaker and Japanese cuisine chef living in Japan.
I have several years of experience as a volunteer English teacher and understand the challenges of learning a second language.
I love traveling, delicious food, hot springs, and enjoying the outdoors. My lessons are relaxed, friendly, and tailored to your pace.

Because I’m also studying English, I know exactly how it feels to struggle, lose motivation, or feel frustrated when learning a new language.
That’s why my goal is to create fun, stress-free Japanese lessons so you can speak with confidence while enjoying the process.
I’m patient, supportive, and will adapt each lesson to your needs.

・Bring your own materials or topics if you prefer
・Optional JLPT preparation and travel Japanese practice

Shin Sensei helps encourges you speak even if you lack confident! So dont worry if you are not confident with your speaking. He will explain and go as slow as you need and explains in english if you are lost.

This is our first lesson. Shin-san is pleasant and is easy to talk to. Today we worked on listening as reading at a natural speed. Shin-san's spoke at a more natural speed which can be challenging for me. He did write what he said on the chat box which is very helpful, especially for a visual learner like myself. Shin-san speaks English well but I appreciate him not using English much so that I can push myself further on my listening/comprehension skill. レッスンをありがとうございました!
