Hello! I'm Ayumi from Japan. I speak a bit of English and Russian. Studying in Russia and traveling made me love learning about cultures and meeting people.
I enjoy cozy games like Harvest Moon, Dave the Diver, and The Sims 4. I’m not into playing action games, but I love watching pro matches —watch parties are the best!
Baking is another passion. I often make cakes, macarons, and puddings. Macarons are tricky but rewarding!
In our lessons, I help you learn natural Japanese through your interests. Mistakes are welcome—they’re how we learn!Let’s have fun learning Japanese! 😊
In my lessons, we’ll practice conversations based on real-life situations, such as travel, daily life, and hobbies.
But if you’d like to talk about something else, I’m happy to adjust the lesson to match your interests.
I’m a patient teacher and will gently encourage you to speak without worrying about mistakes—they’re part of learning!

Ayumi sensei did a great job gently pushing me towards speaking Japanese. I never spoke so much Japanese in my life! By the end of the lesson I was much more confident in both speaking and listening, than I was initially.
