Hi, I’m Taka! - Born and raised in Japan - 26 years of experience in the Japanese media industry - Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in mechanical engineering I offer the five lesson courses: 1. Keigo for Beginners & Refreshers 2. Business Japanese for Real Conversations 3. Conversation + Real-Time Feedback 4. Interview Prep: Script Review & Role-Play 5. Grammar Step by Step For details, please check the description of each course. Whether you’re learning business Japanese or conversation, I tailor each lesson to your goals. I’ve traveled to over 30 countries, including China, the U.S., UK and Vietnam. These experiences help me understand the challenges of learning a new language.

I offer five types of lessons tailored to your needs. Most lessons include real-time feedback during the lesson and send you personalized notes afterward, so you can review them anytime. Qualifications - Certified Japanese Language Teacher Examination (登録日本語教員試験基礎試験・応用試験) Passed - Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test (日本語教育能力検定試験) Passed - EIKEN Grade 1(Japan’s highest-level English proficiency exam, 英検 1級) Passed Professional Background - Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from a university in Japan - 26 years of professional experience at Japanese companies

How I Teach - You will speak more than I do while I listen and take notes. Creating your own sentences is the key to mastering Japanese. - I primarily use Japanese in class, but I can use English when necessary. - My lessons are for learners aged 18 and older.

I truly recommend Taka-sensei as a language teacher. He is patient, kind, and has a great way of explaining things so that they are easy to understand. During our lessons, he listens carefully and helps me improve step by step, from pronunciation to choosing more natural expressions in both casual and business situations. He always gives thoughtful feedback and useful notes after class, which makes it much easier for me to review and practice on my own. Thanks to his supportive and encouraging style, every lesson feels comfortable, motivating, and enjoyable.

I've enjoyed my lessons with Taka-sensei so far, and I appreciate all the feedback he gives to help me correct my mistakes. He has been flexible in adjusting our lessons based on both what will help me to progress, and how much energy I have for my studies. I've not studied Keigo much yet, but I'm sure that with Taka-sensei's help and guidance I'll be able to make substantial progress with it!
