I truly recommend Taka-sensei as a language teacher. He is patient, kind, and has a great way of explaining things so that they are easy to understand. During our lessons, he listens carefully and helps me improve step by step, from pronunciation to choosing more natural expressions in both casual and business situations. He always gives thoughtful feedback and useful notes after class, which makes it much easier for me to review and practice on my own. Thanks to his supportive and encouraging style, every lesson feels comfortable, motivating, and enjoyable.

I've enjoyed my lessons with Taka-sensei so far, and I appreciate all the feedback he gives to help me correct my mistakes. He has been flexible in adjusting our lessons based on both what will help me to progress, and how much energy I have for my studies. I've not studied Keigo much yet, but I'm sure that with Taka-sensei's help and guidance I'll be able to make substantial progress with it! Another awesome lesson. I am asking Taka-san to teach content outside of the text-book that requires on-the-spot explanation of complicated Japanese grammar rules. The value of working with a formally certified teacher is demonstrated, as Taka-san has the ability to provide clear explanation. I continue to be impressed by Taka-san. He is always so helpful and patient and quick to help me find the right words when I stumble. Lately, I have been mixing up verbs that share the same first two syllables and yet Taka-san is always able to understand my intention and quickly give me a correction. Taka-san is always positive and encouraging, even when I get discouraged or when I feel that I have not studied enough. I am grateful for Taka-san’s patience l, cheerful demeanor, and steady feedback. With every lesson, I definitely feel like I am learning and growing my understanding of the Japanese language and social nuances. I strongly recommend Taka-san as an excellent guide and resource to other students who are studying Japanese.
