I am Zineb Elgati, a dedicated French language instructor with 14 years of professional experience in both traditional and online educational settings. My career includes teaching at international schools in the Gulf region, where I developed expertise in preparing students for standardized French proficiency exams (TCF/TEF/DELF) and delivering beginner-level instruction. As a Moroccan national holding a degree from the Faculty of Science and Technology at Marrakech, I combine my formal training in pedagogical methods with a natural aptitude for teaching. My approach emphasizes customized lesson plans that address individual learning objectives while maintaining academic rigor.

Zineb insists that we speak in French during the lesson. It has been hard to shift into French mode, though she patiently guides me along like a real professional and I am starting to see real solid results.

Zineb has a slightly different style that suits my needs perfectly. Instead of working with textbooks, she conducts her lessons in the form of conversations around things that one is familiar with in our daily life.
Aided with prepared material, she covers both grammar, vocabulary and conversation. For example, in the first lesson, we worked on daily activities and in the second, we touched on things in the house and around the building. I find this structure very useful as it quickly helps build a solid foundation of vocabulary and gently introduces the right amount of grammar.
What's helpful is that Zineb guides the lesson with minimal English to get the student used to listening (to her questions) and conversation in French. The hour passes very quickly and I look forward to many more sessions with Zineb!
