My lessons are fun and flexible, tailored to each student’s level and goals. I focus on practical Korean expressions for everyday use and create a comfortable space where students can freely ask questions. Through active feedback, I help students learn without fear of mistakes.
We’ll discuss topics like:
• Korean holidays (e.g., Seollal, Chuseok)
• World travel
• Cultural differences
• Korean pop culture (e.g., dramas, K-pop)

I enjoy every time I am challenged to speak about something more difficult than I have ever done before. I learn new vocabulary and practice making long sentences based on the reality of my life. I accumulate new vocabulary that I can use in real life.
I'm not good at English and Korean, so it takes me a long time to think and to say each sentence, there are 3 languages running through my head. hahaha But Gihyeon always waits for me. Thank you for being patient and making the classroom fun. See you soon

I book a lesson in order to improve my writing. The lesson was absolutely great. We first did a bit of speaking practice to warm up and after that we looked at the text I had written. I got very helpful feedback. It was more than just correct a word or a grammar. The explanations behind those corrections were very helpful and a great insight in the korean way of thinking. At the end we practiced make more complex sentences. It was challenging which is exactly what I was looking for. I cannot wait for the next class!
