Hi everyone! Wah gwaan?
I’m a Jamaican Patois tutor who is passionate about helping people feel comfortable and confident as they explore a new language. Jamaican Patois is not just a way of speaking, it’s a beautiful expression of our culture, history, and everyday life.
My lessons are fun, interactive, and tailored to your interests. Whether you want to connect more deeply with Jamaican music, learn expressions, or simply master conversational phrases for travel or personal growth, I’ll create a learning experience that feels natural and enjoyable.

I have been a teacher for over 30 years and I have worked with both adults and children. Therefore, I am able to work with a wide variety of learners at different levels. Working in the classroom has definitely taught me to be patient and understanding.
Over the years, I’ve learned how to adapt my teaching style to meet each student’s unique needs. I believe that learning should be fun, engaging, and practical so that students feel motivated and confident. My goal is always to create a warm and supportive environment where students can thrive. I loved every second of this lesson. The teacher knows how to make it fun and enjoyable while teaching.
As I can speak some creole I fully over stood everything making the lesson even more enjoyable.
The teacher was able to use sentences to give good examples of how the words are used in practice.
I was given homework to learn for my next lesson.
I literally can’t wait till my next lesson.
