I’m a French teacher with 15+ years’ experience. Originally from France, I’ve lived in Scotland for 16 years.
I teach teenagers (15+) and adults from beginner to advanced. I explain clearly in English when needed, but focus on using French in a relaxed setting.
Lessons are structured and personalised around your level and goals, linking grammar, vocabulary, and all four skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing). They include varied activities, regular review, and clear explanations. I take notes during class and send materials and optional homework after each lesson. The pace is flexible to suit you. I teach French to teenagers (15+) and adults, from beginner to advanced levels. My lessons are student-centered and supportive, with a focus on building confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I believe mistakes are a natural part of learning, and I encourage students to take risks and practise actively. I speak English fluently, so I can explain tricky points clearly when needed, but most of our time is spent using French in a relaxed, friendly environment.

My structured French lessons are designed around your level and needs, with themes that link grammar, vocabulary, and practice. Lessons include speaking, listening, reading, writing, and grammar, with plenty of practice and review of prior learning. I take notes during class so you can focus on learning, and after the lesson I send all notes, materials, and optional homework to help you progress.
