I’m from a small village in England, near Birmingham. I hold a BA in English Language and Literature. I’m also a qualified teacher of English as a foreign language. In my lessons, speaking is the focus, whether it’s relaxed, open conversation practice or structured discussions based on engaging topics. My aim is to help you speak more confidently, naturally and fluently! ** Unfortunately, I don't accept children! ** I’m patient, friendly and always ready to adapt my lessons to suit each student. I enjoy creating a comfortable environment where you can speak freely without worrying about making mistakes. I believe learning works best when it’s enjoyable and personal to your goals. :-) My lessons are either open conversations or we can explore a chosen topic through guided discussion. I use clear explanations, real-life examples and useful feedback so you can improve your vocabulary, pronunciation and confidence at the same time.

I have been having class with Finn for over 3 years now and I feel really lucky that I've found him here. His friendly and supportive demeanor, combined with his sense of humour and laid-back personality, has made learning from him such a pleasant experience. His kindness and sensitivity towards his students is truly precious and admirable. We always have lots of stuff to talk about and time flies in our classes. With his help I have now improved my English a lot and I can also express myself with fluency and confidence. Thank you for being such a fantastic teacher and friend!

And let’s talk about our class discussions. They’re more like friendly banter sessions than stiff, formal debates. On the other hand, if you are having a bad day, Finn has mastered the art of listening. And I believe, this is the best way to practice English speaking.
