🇪🇦I was born in the beautiful Canary Islands, Spain, although my passion for learning about cultures and languages has taken me to Germany, Costa Rica, Italy, Brazil, Malta, and now, Thailand!
I have worked for over 10 years as a Spanish teacher, 8 years here in Italky and it is a great experience for me because it brings together everything I love: teaching, learning and getting to know new people.
A little note about me: they say I am a cheerful and sociable person. I am very curious and I am a restless learner. I love to travel, I enjoy reading, arts, yoga and taking walks through nature.عني كمعلّم

❤️I love learning about different topics in my classes alongside my students. I believe that education is a two-way street: the teacher learns, and vice versa.
Over my working experience, I have been able to see that students learn faster when the class focuses on the conversation and how, through it, they are able to fulfill other goals, such as expanding vocabulary, learning new expressions, and improving their grammar and pronunciation.
I mainly consider myself a flexible teacher who is able to adapt to my students' interests and needs, so we could tailor-made our classes to suit your learning style.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي

Raquel was amazing! She is very encouraging and patient. I appreciate her teaching style in that, even if you’re not sure or don’t entirely get it correct, she’s still supportive and positive. I booked a regular session immediately after our trial session ended because I feel like I will be able to progress fairly quickly, while being confident in speaking the language to other spanish speakers (that will be more critical). I truly am thankful!
