Happy New Year! What a great way to kick off the year with another Chinese lesson with Zhen. I have never been able to stick with language learning as much as I can with this teacher. I'm so grateful and continue to find new ways to use my budding Chinese skills. Such a fun lesson! The time flies by.

Zhen continues to be the best teacher here! She is so disciplined and structured. I don't know how she is also so kind and patient. She is a decorated professor with hundreds of students in China. I feel SO blessed to be able to learn from her. You can tell she cares about her students and is so prepared each lesson. I can't wait for my next lesson with her! I started out speaking 0 Chinese, and I can speak some full sentences now. I'm learning chinese characters and pronunciation. WOW! What a great gift. If you are thinking about trying to learn Chinese with Zhen, do it! You won't regret it.

Zhen is an AMAZING teacher. I didn’t know any Chinese characters six months ago and now I am reading some full sentences. She really helps build my confidence in learning a difficult language. She’s also patient with me when I ask about cultural questions even if it’s slightly off topic from the lesson. She is the best!
