Hello! I’m Yalem, an Ethiopian author and lecturer with a master’s in language and literature. My novel, *ሥውር ወግ* (Hidden Dialogue), reflects my love for storytelling—a skill I weave into teaching Amharic. Whether you’re a beginner or advancing, I’ll help you speak confidently while exploring Ethiopia’s vibrant culture. Let’s turn language learning into a journey of discovery!عني كمعلّم
As a teacher, I am passionate about helping my students not only learn the Amharic language but also appreciate the cultural richness of Ethiopia. I had my first Amharic lesson with Yalem and it was a great experience! He is very kind, patient, and explains everything clearly. You can see that he prepares well and truly cares about his students. I appreciated how much effort he put into the class and how much I learned even in just one session. I loved my first Amharic lesson. Teacher Yalem is so kind, patient, motivated, and creative. In my first lesson, I understood how to work the number system and alphabet, and I learned some greetings. I am excited for my next lesson.
