Do you struggle to use Spanish in real-life situations? I’m Cora, and I help A1–A2 students learn how to use Spanish in real life — ordering in a restaurant, asking for directions, shopping and managing everyday situations. My lessons follow a structured program based on the MCER, PCIC and communicative functions, so you don’t just learn rules — you learn how to use them in context. I focus on making grammar clear, practical and immediately usable, so you can start speaking with confidence from the beginning. If you’re looking for a clear path (not random lessons), you’re in the right place. ¿Listo para empezar a usar el español en la vida real? I have over 15 years of experience in education and have more recently specialised in teaching Spanish as a foreign language (ELE). What makes my approach different is that I don’t teach grammar in isolation. I organise it around real-life situations and communicative functions. While I follow a complete and structured program aligned with the Instituto Cervantes curriculum and designed to cover all the key contents for each level, my approach is practical and focused on helping you use the language in context, so you understand when and why to use each structure. Cora is a wonderful teacher. Her lessons are clear, engaging, and well-structured. Most importantly for a new learner, she is super patient. Cora has a skill for spotting exactly where I’m struggling and tailoring the lesson accordingly. I honestly cannot recommend her highly enough!

I’ve tried several teachers on italki, but for the past 18 months I’ve worked exclusively with Cora — which says everything. She’s a true professional: highly qualified, well-prepared, and structured in her approach. What sets her apart is the balance between theory and real conversation — you don’t just learn the language, you use it. Before working with her, I felt stuck. I understood the theory but couldn’t apply it confidently. Through consistent practice and her encouraging style, she helped me turn that into natural communication. I’ve progressed a lot. Her lessons are engaging, focused, and always have clear direction. She’s supportive while still pushing you to improve, and very flexible with scheduling, which makes consistency easy.
