Mexican translator and writer currently living in Brazil. I came to this beautiful country to study, I fell in love with a Brazilian woman, we got married, and now my life is here. I have worked as a linguist in the corporate industry for a long time, but I'm trying to switch to a career that is more in touch with people.

I try my best to understand each student's needs. If you are simply trying to practice your Spanish, we can have a meaning conversation, or if you need help to pass a test or achieve fluency, I'll tailor our lessons to achieve your goals.

I believe learning a language comes hand in hand with getting to know the culture of the countries that speak it. That's why my lessons include artworks, poems, short stories, and short films.

I am really enjoying my lessons with Enrique! His lessons are thoughtfully designed with conversation, grammar exercises, and critical engagement with art and literature. His knowledge of the arts is a huge asset to him as an educator, both of language and of literature and culture. Very fun and dynamic. I highly highly recommend!

I wanted to have a better understanding of cultures in Latin America through literature, and Enrique is an expert not just in the material but also in facilitating discussion. I just had his "Learn Spanish Through Cultural Immersion" class and it was quite interesting learning Spanish through poems. I hope to take his classes some more in the future!
