Hi! I’m a native British English speaker from Stoke, near Manchester. As a language learner myself (Spanish, Portuguese & Arabic), I specialise in helping professionals and travellers feel confident with natural English—whether for business, daily life, or cultural immersion. With 10+ years in international management consulting and stints living in China, New Zealand & Latin America, I blend real-world communication skills with patience honed from my own language-learning journey. Let’s turn your goals into engaging chats over many different topics such as business, travel, food, films, history, or sports while making mistakes feel like progress! I am TEFL certified and have helped many students to achieve their language learning goals in English and initially in our lessons we will discuss your goals to plan how we can reach them together. I keep our lessons interactive and conversational where we can discuss any topic of your choice to make it as enjoyable as possible. Do not worry as I am extremely patient! We can discuss Youtube videos, review songs, practice potential conversation scenarios and I can recommend tv shows/songs to listen to that will further help in attaining your English goals.

Nick is an amazing teacher. Super kind, patient, and genuinely fun to talk to. He’s incredibly well-traveled, so every lesson turns into a great conversation with lots of interesting topics and real-life examples. Time flies in his classes, and I always leave feeling more confident and motivated. If you’re looking for a teacher who’s friendly, engaging, and easy to talk to, I can’t recommend Nick enough!

I’ve been really enjoying my Business English lessons with Nick. The classes are well structured around practical business topics and real-world situations, and he always prepares the materials /topics related to my working area. It makes the learning experience very relevant and engaging. One aspect I particularly like is the focus on idioms and expressions commonly used in professional environments. He also asks thoughtful questions that push me to think and structure quick clear responses. Overall, the lessons are dynamic, practical, and very effective for improving both confidence and fluency in a business context.
