I have served as an Arabic, Farsi, and English tutor in Iran for high school students. I am well versed in Persian literature and poetry. I am passionate about Rumi, Hafiz, and Ferdowsi. I have translated English books into Farsi and published them in Iran. I am currently translating a Farsi book into English for the newer generation of Iranian expatriates.عني كمعلّم
I have over 20 years of experience in child development and also served a pre-school teacher for 14 years. As a result, I am very patient, empathetic and compassionate. Salaam, Najmee is an excellent teacher who is very patient, understanding and together we have started reading the Shahnameh from cover to cover. She interprets the deeper meanings of this Persian classic while also explaining the definitions of words that I don't know. I look forward to many more classes.
