Hi! I’m Chris from Ireland. I have a Master’s in European Studies and have lived in Sweden, Belgium, and France, working with EU institutions and the British Council. I speak French and Swedish (sometimes badly!) and love how language learning opens doors to new cultures and people. I’m TEFL Level 5 certified and really enjoy helping learners improve their English. I was born in the UK, so I speak both British and Irish English. My lessons are relaxed, supportive, and focused on your goals.
I’ve been teaching on iTalki for around four years.
I use a communicative approach focused on real conversation and practical language. My lessons use authentic materials and are tailored to your interests; Engaging, relevant content makes learning more effective.
I create a calm, supportive atmosphere where you can feel confident to speak and make progress. Whether you need to build fluency, expand your vocabulary, or just feel more comfortable in English, we’ll work at a pace that suits you.
I teach Conversation English, General English, and Interview Preparation using a communicative, discussion-based method.
Lessons focus on real-world content—like music, YouTube, books, news articles, and podcasts—that you find interesting and relevant.
I encourage you to suggest topics you enjoy! I tailor each lesson to your goals, whether it’s improving fluency, building vocabulary, or focusing on grammar or reading skills. My lessons are best suited for intermediate to advanced learners (B1...الشهادات
