👋 Hi, I’m Lorna – a native English speaker from the UK 🇬🇧 and a certified teacher with a specialism in Business English.
🌍 I’ve been teaching for over 10 years in Europe, North America, and the South Pacific, and now work online from Madrid.
💬 I’ve helped hundreds of learners feel more confident and speak more naturally in real situations – whether for work, travel, or daily life.
🗣️ I work with many professionals on workplace communication, but I also support learners who want to improve general fluency, pronunciation, and everyday conversation. My lessons are always friendly, practical, and personalised to your goals.عني كمعلّم
🎓 I have a degree in English from the University of Exeter and I’m certified with both the CELTA and DELTA (Modules 1 & 3, specialising in Business English for 1:1 professionals online). I’ve worked with learners from all over the world and supported people in many different industries.
I really enjoy helping people, and I feel lucky to be able to do this as my job ❤️. I’m also learning Spanish, so I understand how challenging it can be to learn a language as an adult!

Great final class for the Business package! I feel I met all the objectives, and I’m truly grateful to Lorna for her guidance, support, and dedication throughout the course. In 2026, I might even take the plunge and prepare for the C2, and I hope to count on her for that journey as well. 🥰🥰🥰

I really enjoy Lorna’s classes because they are dynamic and creative. She is highly involved in the learning process and uses presentations and practical activities to simulate real-life situations, such as debating different topics and opinions, giving presentations, and performing more confidently in a professional work environment.
On a personal level, her classes have helped me feel much more confident and comfortable in my remote job at a U.S.-based company, especially since it is my first time working in English (I'm Spanish). In addition, she is genuinely a pleasure to work with and creates a positive, enjoyable class atmosphere that always leaves you in a good mood :)
