こんにちは、ダイです！ I’ve spent the last five years teaching Japanese in Japan, helping over 500 students achieve their language goals—from passing JLPT N2 to mastering travel phrases. My teaching philosophy? Making lessons as exciting as your favorite hobbies! As someone who grew up obsessed with *Dragon Ball* and *Slam Dunk*, and spent countless hours playing *Dragon Quest* and *Final Fantasy*, I love incorporating pop culture into learning. My own journey with languages began when I studied abroad in the U.S., which ignited my passion for cultural exchange. Since then, I’ve traveled to 12 countries (from the beaches of Thailand to the art museums of Italy), always eager to learn about local traditعني كمعلّم

I have a lot of experience teaching Japanese. Some of the students I've taught passed the JLPT N2 in just one year, even though they couldn't speak Japanese at all.
The first step in learning Japanese is to not be afraid of making mistakes.
It's okay to make mistakes, so let's talk a lot!
The fastest way to improve is to talk a lot about your favorite Japanese topics.

Lessons are conducted in both English and Japanese.
Of course, lessons in Japanese only are also fine.
Currently, I have taught over 500 lessons.
I recommend that beginners who are learning Japanese use a textbook.
I use "GENKI".
This book is written in English and is aimed at beginners, and is used by many Japanese language learners.
By using this book, you can understand Japanese smoothly.
If you have studied Japanese before and are confident, you can take lessons without using textbooks.
I think I can provide lessons that suit each individual.

Dai sensei did a great job making me feel comfortable speaking. He understood when I was struggling and helped me correct as I was speaking.

It was another fun class reading a manga, and learning about the different gitaigo/giongo (onomatopeia) in class that are common in manga. Dai explains well, and I can easily understand what new words/expressions mean, as well as what kind of context you could use/find them. Great class!

Dai Sensei is great! He does a fantastic job keeping a conversation going, but can also work with you from a book and give you deeper explanations.
