We went through more reading strategies today. It was really hopeful to know how to read faster for different types of questions. Chieko’s lesson is always very structured where we go through the theory before diving into the practical and wrapping up with a summary. She’s also very encouraging despite me not being 100% sure and guessing answers which makes me feel at ease. When there is a word I don’t know she also encourages me think what it means as there are probably plenty of words in the JLPT that I won’t know.

Chieko-sensei is a wonderful teacher. She is very professional, yet she's patient and caring. She'll listen to you diligently and also give you very thoughtful and productive feedback. She always writes me useful tips and summaries after each lesson. I find those summaries and pdfs very helpful. She does this all while giving you a nice smile :) She's an amazing Japanese and JLPT teacher!

Today was my third lesson with Chieko sensei. I have been really enjoying my lessons. Each lesson has been really well thought out and planned. Usually there is a bit of theory before we dive into the practices. We have been focusing on reading lately, and she has been teaching me strategies to answer the questions faster, while also picking up on new grammar structures and words. Can't wait for our next lesson :)

Chieko-san is a great teacher . She’s patient , friendly and is always smiling 😊. She explains new words and grammar thoroughly until I understand it . We always start the lesson by doing speaking exercises which helps with both listening and speaking , and helps me as a student become more confident with Japanese 🇯🇵. Always look forward to having more lessons with Chieko-san 👩‍🏫

Another enjoyable lesson! This time, we worked through longer passages and learned strategies for reading them more efficiently. I found this really helpful, as I tend to take quite a long time to read longer texts.

Chieko先生 is a true gem! She is quick to identify weak spots and we do targeted exercises. She also gives homework, which is fantastic! Looking forward to our next lessons! ありがとうございます！
