Hi! I'm Alix from London, England. I teach British English with a focus on conversational confidence🗣️! I've travelled to over 30 countries and lived in China, Japan, Italy, and Thailand, so I love sharing cultural knowledge as well as language. I'm Cambridge CELTA-qualified 🎓 and have 8 years experience helping students with IELTS and general English. Let's make learning English fun, interesting, and easy together! ☕عني كمعلّم

Alix is really professional and kind! I enjoy lessons with her so much!
During our first class, she conducted a thorough assessment of my English skills by asking me a series of questions. She also took the time to understand my specific learning goals and preferences for her teaching approach. For instance, she asked whether I preferred immediate corrections when making mistakes or a general feedback session at the end of the class. She also inquired about my expectations regarding homework and other aspects of the learning process, ensuring that her lessons were tailored to my needs.
She is also good at utilizing English teaching materials and online resources to enhance the learning experience. Her lessons are engaging and well-structured, incorporating interactive elements such as digital flashcards and discussion topics!
