Bonjour, je m’appelle Jean-Baptiste! I’m a French teacher from Nice, on the sunny French Riviera, and I also love exploring the world through my filmmaker and photographer hats.
I’ve always believed that learning a language is one of the most exciting ways to open the world. After studying History and Geography in Lyon, I focused on storytelling and traveled to 30 countries, from the turquoise shores of Greece to the vibrant streets of India. Along the way, I discovered how much I enjoy helping curious minds unlock the beauty of French, through culture, conversation, or everyday life.

My background in screenwriting and love for languages helps me create lessons that are structured yet lively. I value regular reviews, simple explanations, and steady progress, while keeping a warm atmosphere where you can speak freely and build confidence.

Jean-Baptiste is a natural communicator who uses his skills to create an open-minded environment for his students.
He is very easy to talk to, with a sense of humour and plenty of patience for students anywhere on their journey to fluency. He is also a filmmaker and great storyteller with a great sense of curiosity.
His deep understanding of French history is ideal for the student who is looking to pair their language learning with a historical context of France. Lessons are never boring!
