My name is Yuliia, and I'm here to provide speaking classes in English, Ukrainian, and Russian. After years of education, I began practicing psychology while also working as a private tour guide. Meeting people from different parts of the world and understanding how they think and function is a big part of my life, and I’m grateful to fulfill this passion through both of my occupations. I have worked as a translator, a university psychology teacher, and a freelancer for event and modelling agencies. During the off-season in tourism, I crave opportunities to speak English. I hope Italki will be a great platform not only to fill this gap but also to help students improve their language skills. Having Ukrainian and Russian as my mother tongues, I have been learning English for many years, and it remains my hobby to this day. In my experience, knowing this global language has helped me feel confident abroad, make new friends, read articles, enjoy movies in their original language, and broaden my horizons. As an Italki community teacher, I want to help you become more confident in speaking languages—whether it is English, українська, or русский. During my years of education, I realized that if you don't practice, you forget. Yuliia is great! I have very little Russian language experience, but Yuliia is patient and knowledgeable. Her English language skills and vocabulary are excellent, she is a great communicator and teacher.

Julia is very patient and understanding for those learning Russian. She gently corrects one's pronunciation mistakes and writes the correct spelling of the word down so one can learn the correct pronunciation. Gently correcting one's grammatical errors, she writes or demonstrates how the grammar affects the meaning of the combined words, so that when one speaks the language, the proper meaning is conveyed to the listener.
