With a strong background in customer service as a call center agent, I bring a unique set of skills that enhance my approach to teaching. My experience in the fast-paced and dynamic environment of a call center has honed my ability to think on my feet, manage complex situations, and find creative solutions to challenges—skills that are essential in the classroom.
In the call center, I learned how to engage with a wide range of people from diverse backgrounds, listening carefully to their needs, addressing concerns with empathy, and communicating effectively. I enjoy learning about my student's lives and having genuine conversations while improving articulation and vocabulary. Another one of my favorite ways to enhance language learning is by using articles from various sources, such as news websites, blogs, or online magazines. Articles are rich in vocabulary, sentence structure, and real-world language that can be applied in a variety of situations.
