Welcome! I am Humphrey, a dedicated Swahili language instructor and native Tanzanian with a passion for bridging cultural and linguistic gaps. As a certified educator with over seven years of experience, I specialize in delivering practical Swahili instruction tailored for travelers, expatriates, and professionals. My approach combines structured language fundamentals with immersive cultural elements—from local proverbs and market negotiations to contemporary Tanzanian music. Whether your goal is conversational fluency, business communication, or cultural appreciation, my lessons are designed to equip you with real-world skills while deepening your connection to East Africa. 4. customized: I design lessons around your needs ( travel, work, moving to east africa , or just for fun.)

It is alwys a great pleasure to have lessons with Humphrey. He is well prepared, feels when I am losing concentration and energey and adapts the velocity of teaching in a variable suitable way. BEST Swahili Teacher ever !!!

I just had my first lesson! He is extremely patient and we went over a lot in just 45 minutes. I definitely recommend him if you want to learn Kiswahili.
