Hello, my name is Iida!
I'm a native Finnish, English speaker with five years teaching experience. I'm passionate about teaching and helping others achieve their language goals. I'm always excited to share my knowledge and experience with students of all ages. When I'm not teaching, my other interests include software development, graphic design, writing and illustration. I love to bring creativity into everything I do, whether it's teaching, building a website, coding an application, or creating artwork to inspire.عني كمعلّم
I have extensive experience teaching all ages a variety of subjects. I have taught Finnish, English, software development, graphic design, as well as illustration. I am patient, understanding, and prioritize fostering a comfortable, relaxed environment for all of my students. I design my lessons to offer a practical, real-world understanding of the Finnish language. Recognizing that traditional language materials can often feel inorganic or disconnected from everyday use, I focus on teaching more relevant concepts that are directly applicable to life in finland. I’ve had a great experience learning Finnish with her. Our sessions are very effective, they really push me to construct sentences in real-time, which has helped my speaking. We’ve been working through a book together. I try to prepare in advance, and she always comes with extra questions that guide the conversation and challenge me. I’m always impressed by how well-prepared she is and how skillfully she leads the sessions. Highly recommended!
