Me encantan las clases con Sofia. Siempre es divertido, estamos hablando de temas interesantes y es fácil mantener una conversación. Su acento es muy neutral y supersencillo de entender.

Sofia is a very patient teacher. She tailors lessons to your individual goals and works at an effective pace for learning that pushes you to your potential without making you feel frustrated about things that may take time to grasp. She's a great teacher overall.

Sophia was fantastic! She is a great explainer and used a lot of Spanish during our very first lesson, which is exactly what I was looking for. If you want to truly learn a language, you have to start using it, and I was able to speak Spanish right away. I loved that! Muchas gracias, Sophia! I think Sofia is secretly one of the best tutors/instructors you can get on Italki. I've had numerous lessons with many different people, but she is so much fun to learn with. She adapts to your learning level, which really makes listening and understanding an ENJOYABLE task instead of a monstrous challenge. She's incredibly easy to talk with and the lesson time flies by when practicing with her. She's intelligent, knows about many different cultures, and can easily talk with you about a number of different topics. After your initial icebreaker class, she develops activities for you to practice at your level with her, so you really don't even realize you're learning when in class with her because it's so effortless and natural. I generally don't leave italki reviews, and part of me doesn't want to because I don't want to compete for her schedule haha. But she's so fantastic at her craft I simply couldn't help but boast about her. You're in great hands with this teacher

Sofia has a calm engaging manner and I felt comfortable conversing and making mistakes in my first lesson. It went by pretty quickly which indicates that it was effortless and not awkward. Sofia painted a picture of what lay ahead to help me attain greater fluency.

I have been taking lessons with Sofia for over a year now. She is a great teacher and makes conversation enjoyable and low-stress. Her Spanish is clear and understandable, and if needed, her English is excellent. I started lessons with her when I could barely speak a sentence, and have continued with her as my ability has improved. Throughout our time, she has adapted to my level in a way that has just felt natural. Great for beginners all the way to advanced. Highly recommend!
