I'm friendly, sensitive, empathetic and patient with a positive self-growth mindset. I believe myself to be a natural teacher because I love to uplift, inspire and encourage people. Helping others to accept and realise their own potential brings me so much joy. My first, informal, teaching experience occurred right after high school when I came to Mauritius as a volunteer for a year to work in a children's shelter where I taught English and piano classes. I like to tailor my classes to my students' interests and needs. I have hundreds upon hundreds of different lesson plans across a wide variety of subjects and lesson types for each level (A1-C2). Grammar, reading, listening and speaking are the main focus of my classes with writing mainly being employed as a homework task.
