Dear students,
if you haven't been taking lessons with me for some time and currently don't have a package, please send me a message before booking.
I've been working as an online German teacher for adults since 2016.
In my spare time, I enjoy practicing, teaching and studying Yoga, learning Spanish, playing modern board games and reading. I also try to spend as much time as possible with my husband and my 2 kids. In 2023, we went on a 140-days-cycling trip around Europe.

I've taught 4,000+ lessons to hundreds of students of all levels from complete beginners to C2, many of them are long-term students.
I'm fluent in both English and French. I love 1 on 1 lessons, as I can adapt my to the needs of every student.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
There is no fast and easy way to learning a langage. Kids need years till they master their mother tongue. You have to invest time and effort. Therefore, motivation is key. Try to make the lessons a regular part of your schedule and take at least one lesson per week to keep you motivated.
We'll not only work on German grammar, vocabulary, speaking etc. If necessary, I can also help you with finding the right techniques that work best for you. Sometimes, it might also be important to discuss problems with motivation.

Katrin ist sehr freundlich, man lernt mit ihr viele Vokabeln und sie macht den Unterricht sehr produktiv und die Zeit vergeht wie im Flug. Ich kann ihr auf jeden Fall empfehlen, um Deutsch zu lernen.

Katrin is a fantastic teacher. She is very kind, patient and always willing to use different teaching materials depending on your learning style. I feel like I have made lots of progress in our 12 lessons together and am looking forward to continuing learning German with her.
