Hello! My name is Koshiro 🌿
I’m based in Osaka, Japan. I love watching anime and talking with people from around the world! 📺🌎
My students often describe me as a kind and supportive teacher 😊عني كمعلّم
I hold a Master’s degree in Japanese Language Education, specializing in Second Language Acquisition. My research focused on how international students improve their speaking skills and how their social networks during study abroad influence language development.
During graduate school, I completed a teaching practicum at a Japanese university and gained experience as a volunteer teacher in local communities and as a teaching assistant in university classes. I have taught learners from various countries and proficiency levels—from complete beginners to advanced—and have conducted over 300 online lessons.

I would highly recommend the free talk lessons with Koshiro-san. Since the topic is free, you can either talk about any topic of your choosing, any topic that he chooses, or simply just have a free conversation. Even though I did not have many conversation topics in mind, he always helped guide the conversation and encouraged me to speak about various topics. He will correct your speaking in real-time (if that is what you prefer), and offer feedback after the lesson.
