Malagasy is my native language. I was educated in French, learned English mostly on my own, and had to learn Dutch from scratch while I was living in The Netherlands. I truly understand and am very passionate about the challenges (and the joy!) of learning a new language.
Le malgache est ma langue maternelle. J'ai été éduquée en français, appris l'anglais principalement toute seule, et j'ai dû apprendre le néerlandais de A à Z pendant mon séjour aux Pays-Bas. Je comprends parfaitement et suis même passionnée par les défis (et la joie!) liés à l'apprentissage d'une nouvelle langue.عني كمعلّم
I have worked as an one-on-one English tutor in the past and am currently a private Malagasy tutor. I always strive to adapt to each student's pace and needs, especially beginners and quiet learners. My goal is to make each lesson a positive, low-stress experience where you can enjoy learning and make real progress.
J’ai accompagné des apprenants en anglais en cours particuliers, et j’enseigne actuellement le malgache en suivi individuel. J’accorde une grande importance à l’adaptation au rythme et aux besoins de chacun, notamment des débutants ou de ceux qui manquent encore d’assurance. My lessons are centered around conversation, with gentle guidance and rich cultural context. I use visual support, like PowerPoint, to keep things clear and engaging. Each session is designed around what you’re looking for — whether it’s travel, work, family/friends, or just the joy of learning!
Mes cours sont axés sur la conversation, avec un accompagnement bienveillant et un éclaircissement culturel enrichissant. J’utilise des supports visuels, comme PowerPoint, pour rendre les leçons claires et agréables à suivre. Mia is so nice and creative, I like her PowerPoints presentations, very professionnal but also she is super friendly and fun.

Every traveller going to Madagascar should take lessons from Mia. She is so kind and helpful, and she tailored our sessions to exactly what I requested. For every lesson, she sent me Powerpoint shows with the Malagasy phrases, English translations, phonetic spellings, and audio files. I wish I had started lessons earlier with her, because the classes were so enjoyable and she made me want to keep learning more. She is also fluent in both English and French. I would highly recommend Mia as a teacher to anyone!

C'est toujours un plaisir d'apprendre la langue Malgache avec Mia.
Les contenus sont adaptés, les enregistrements audios sont de qualité, rien de tel pour apprendre une nouvelle langue en toute sérénité.

En plus de cela , ils se passent dans la bonne humeur
Même n’étant pas scolaire , Mia a réussi à me faire aimer apprendre.
