Hello !
My name is Gedeiah, I'm originally from Haiti, and I live in the Dominican Republic. I've always been fascinated by languages and the way they allow us to discover new cultures and see the world with an open mind. This passion led me to learn other languages and to become a teacher. That's why I make my students my priority. I do my best, with patience, to find the best way to explain the lessons to make sure my students understand perfectly and, above all, enjoy the experience of learning a new language and speaking it with confidence

As a language teacher, I believe that learning a new language is not just about grammar and vocabulary: it's also about connecting with people, understanding culture, and broadening our worldview. My approach is interactive, encouraging, and learner-centered. Whether you're just starting or want to perfect your skills, I'm here to help you develop your confidence and fluency in Haitian Creole.

This course is designed to introduce you to Haitian Creole (Kreyòl Ayisyen), the most widely spoken language in Haiti. Spoken by over 10 million people, it is not only a means of communication, but also a reflection of Haitian culture, history and resilience.
My goal is to help you :
-Develop a solid foundation in Creole vocabulary and grammar;
-Develop conversational skills for everyday communication;

She’s truly amazing—super thorough and consistently prepared. Gedeiah does an excellent job explaining not just "what" to say, but "why" it’s said that way, which has helped everything click for me. She also weaves in cultural context and translation in a way that makes the language feel real and practical, especially when certain phrases or customs don’t translate directly. I’ve learned a lot and always leave lessons feeling more confident.

Gedeiah is an amazing teacher! Even though I’m so busy and often dread appointments after a long day at work, I look forward to every class we have. I leave feeling energized and optimistic for the future, and I’ve seen so much progress with French in a very short time :)
