Hello! I’m Regina, a certified Spanish and Russian teacher who’s lived in Barcelona for 17 years. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and a Master’s degree in Comparative Literature. Originally from Russia, I’ve studied and worked here in Spain, which gave me a real bilingual perspective.
I also hold two official teaching certificates—one in Spanish and one in Russian—which showed me that speaking a language well is only the first step. To teach effectively, you need proven methods and the right skills to make lessons clear and engaging. I completed a supervised practicum at a busy language school, where I learned from seasoned instructors how to design lessons that really work.
I’m enthusiastic, patient, and genuinely invested in your progress. I create a warm, encouraging atmosphere where you feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Punctual and organized, I prepare each lesson thoughtfully and adapt on the fly if something isn’t working. My friendly, approachable style helps build trust, so you’ll feel motivated and confident. Above all, I’m passionate about sharing language and culture—I celebrate your successes and support you every step of the way.

Certificado de ELE - International House - 2025I hold an official Spanish teaching certification from International House accredited by Instituto Cervantes. I also completed a practicum at a renowned language school in Barcelona. This intensive course was a wonderful learning experience, deepening my understanding of applied pedagogical approaches—particularly the functional and cognitive methods.

I’ve been studying Russian with Regina for over two years, and I’m very grateful for her work. She is a very dedicated teacher who loves what she does and conveys enthusiasm in every class. I also think her method, which combines study with practical games, is very effective. Learning a language is always difficult, but Regina knows how to turn it into an enjoyable experience.
