Teacher had constant internet problems and was unable to complete the hour long lesson.

That was just not what I've asked for

Throughout our first class, I could see that Jaeuk has a very kind and patient personality. He showed genuine interest by asking questions about me, and he gave thoughtful answers to my questions about him. I really like that he taught me more natural ways to convey my thoughts in Korean. I also appreciated that we mainly spoke in Korean the whole time, which was great for my confidence as a learner. I had sent in a short piece of writing beforehand and mentioned that I’d like to review it together during class, but unfortunately, we didn’t get to it. I hope we can do it next time. He ended the class by explaining his courses and offering a possible plan for our continued lessons, which gave me something to look forward to. I had a nice time learning with him!

I appreciated the teacher’s time; however, much of the lesson was conducted in English, even after I requested to speak mostly in Korean. The class felt unstructured, with a focus on personal questions rather than guided learning. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel that I learned anything new during the session.

Jaeuk is always well prepared and uses PowerPoint presentations that make the lessons enjoyable. He also takes the time to explain grammar points with useful examples
