Salut ! I’m Raluca—a French, English and Romanian teacher with a Ph.D. in comparative literature and 8 years of university-level experience. Born in Romania (Iași), I spent 15 years in France (Paris and elsewhere) and now live in Italy (Bari), so I teach with a quadrilingual flair (french, romanian, italian, english). My specialty ? Making language learning vibrant through poetry, etymology, and cultural deep-dives—from art to gaming. Whether you need grammar polish or lively conversation, you are welcome here. I am a passionate teacher of university-level comparative literature and languages, I have eight years of teaching experience in universities in France and Italy - which amounts to about 1400hours. I've directed MA theses and taught in English, French and Italian. دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
I'm comitted to creating a pleasant and stress-free teaching environment, and am attentive to the level, needs and goals of every student. My teaching is based on culture-related discoveries (music, visual media, literature, essais and articles) focusing on reading comprehension, written production, pronounciation, conversation, written translation, grammar (including theoretical grammar) and telling stories on the weaving strands of etymology. I shared a part of a scene from my novel with Raluca. Her insights were both precise and profound. She was able to understand my intentions as a writer without needing me to explain further, which really impressed me.
What surprised me the most was her ability to connect my writing with other works in literary history. This not only broadened my perspective, but also gave me valuable references to learn from and emulate.
The lesson was very relaxed and completely pressure-free. Thank you so much!
