Hi! I’m Ai, a native Japanese speaker currently living in Malaysia after spending over 10 years in Tokyo.
In Japan, I worked in sales and marketing for both a travel and an IT company. I love traveling and have visited all 47 prefectures of Japan, as well as over 30 countries.
I also enjoy hiking, architecture, cooking, and exploring cafes. I’d love to hear about your interests too.
Living abroad has shown me how meaningful it is to connect with people through language, which is why I enjoy teaching Japanese and meeting people from different backgrounds.
In my lessons, I share insights into Japanese culture, daily life, and local experiences.

I’ve been working as a private Japanese tutor since 2024, both online and in person.
I mainly work with beginner and intermediate learners (N5-N3).
In my lessons, I focus on practical communication and how Japanese is used in everyday situations, so you can express your ideas naturally and with confidence.
I also offer support for JLPT preparation (N5–N3), helping you understand grammar clearly while improving your overall skills.
With experience working in Japanese companies, I can also help you practice conversations for workplace situations.

I use textbooks such as Genki and Quartet, along with original materials, to support your learning in a structured and practical way.
We focus on building a strong grammar foundation while practicing speaking through meaningful, real-life topics.
You will learn how to express your thoughts naturally and communicate with confidence.
Each lesson is tailored to your level, goals, and pace, so you can learn comfortably and effectively.
