Hi! My name is Maria and I am from Greece. I study journalism and I have a big passion for languages, culture and communication. I speak English, Spanish and a little Italian and French. Besides studing I love photography, literature hisand politics, topics that also inspire many of my conversations. I would describe myself as a curius, open minded persone with a good sense of humor. I think languages are the greatest way to connect with people and I travel often to practice and expirience other cultures first hand.عني كمعلّم
I believe learning should be enjoyable, so I always try to create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in class. I love traveling and I truly appreciate the feeling of being able to communicate with locals, and this is exactly the experience I want to share with you while learning Greek. So I focus on real life conversations and useful vocabulary and a lot of practice on speaking. I undersatand the challenges of language learning and I try to be patient and deal every dificulty with houmor and good will.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
My lessons are practical, interactive and tailored to student's goals. Every student is different so I adapt the pace, materials and focus dependingon each one's level, interest and abilities.
FOR BEGINNERS
I focus on everyday communication introducing yourself, asking simple questions, ordering food and drink, asking for help and vocabulary for other useful situations. I use dialogues, flashcards, simple texts, exercises and role plays to make learning fun and memorable.
FOR INTERMEDIATE AND ADVANCED
I encourage deeper conversations. We talk about daily life, news, art, cooking or any topic the student choose. I use newspaper articles, podcasts, advanced texts, videos, films and exercises.موادي الخاصة بالتدريس
