Hi there,
my name is Marieke, and I’m a native German speaker from central Germany. Since my daily life is in English (my partner is French), I speak it fluently as well! :)
I love helping learners feel more comfortable speaking German. My lessons are supportive, interactive, and always adapted to your level and interests.
I hold a Master’s degree in Art, Media, and Education, and I’m currently training to become a certified teacher for German as a foreign language at the Goethe-Institut.
In my free time, I enjoy learning languages myself — right now Dutch, French, and Japanese. I know first-hand how challenging (and fun) it can be to learn a new language.عني كمعلّم
As a teacher, my goal is to create a supportive and fun learning environment. From my own experience, I know the best way to improve a language is through practice, so I encourage plenty of speaking while helping you with pronunciation, vocabulary, and — if needed — grammar.
