My lessons are always so fun! My vocabulary is pretty limited, but the teacher always helps me formulate a sentence. She asks questions to understand what I’m trying to say. We have many laughs when I tell stories. During the first half of the lesson, we free talk, and that’s a lot of fun. The second half is helpful because she shows me a presentation that she has made, so I get to learn new words and phrases. Although some weeks I struggle a lot and other weeks I can make long sentences, she doesn’t get upset with me. I struggle with numbers a lot, and although we have learned them, I make mistakes all the time. The teacher always gently corrects me, and she doesn’t get upset when I make mistakes. She is kind and knows that learning a language is hard because she is also learning different languages.

수업 시간이 너무 빨리 지나갔어요! 오늘도 너무 즐거웠어요.이야기 이것저것 해서 너무 좋아요.앞으로도 재미있게 이야기 나눴으면 좋겠어요! 선생님 건강 잘 챙기세용. ☺️

I had my first class with 채언쌤 today. She gave me many examples and clear explanations of the terms and grammar in the books. She asked me lots of questions about my experiences so I could practice talking about it. I was a bit nervous because it was the first class with a new teacher, but I felt comfortable and relaxed quickly. Thank you teacher!

처음에는 스몰토크 부터 시작해요! 최근에 있었던 일들을 친구에게 말하듯이 하니까 머릿속을 정리되고 한국어도 잘 외워요^^ 저 얘기를 잘 들어주고 질문도 해주니까 끝없이 재밌게 수다 떨 수 있어요~~^^

She gave me a lot of encouragement, make me confident speaking Korean. I feel good and happy every time.

매번 프리 토크가 재밌고 시간이 순식간에 가요! 수업 직전에 오늘은 어떤 이야기를 할 까 긴장될 때가 있긴 있는데 선생님이 화제를 꺼내주시고 잘 맞장구도 춰주실 테니까 자신감 있게 할 수 있어요~~!
