The lessons with Leire are fantastic. Here are the main reasons why: - She asks you what you want to practice and prepares the lessons. You can always reach her through the chat. - Conversations aren't just about sitting back and relaxing for Leire : she tests your level, strengths, and weaknesses with questions. - She subtly corrects your mistakes and notes your strengths and areas for improvement, which she discusses with you at the end of the lesson. - She's focused and engaged throughout the entire class. - Leire speaks fluent English, which is helpful when you're stuck for words. - She uses chat extensively, so you can study (unknown) words, expressions, useful information, and documentation (textbook, vocabulary list, verb conjugation charts, etc.) afterwards. - In addition to conversation classes, I've had targeted practice lessons on e.g. subjunctive and imperative. At the end of each lesson, you think: wow, I've learned a lot. In short, what a great teacher she is.

Leire es, sin duda, una de las mejores profesoras que se pueden tener en Italki. Explica con claridad, hace que las clases sean dinámicas y consigue motivar a sus alumnos. Más allá de su capacidad de enseñanza, es una persona muy interesante con quien resulta un placer conversar, ya que aporta siempre nuevas ideas y perspectivas 🇪🇸 Gracias, Leire!

I love my lessons with Leire 🤍 she’s amazing

Leire is an engaging, enthusiastic and encouraging teacher. I have had 2 conversation classes with her and they were both well-structured, interesting and enjoyable. Leire asked lots of questions to encourage me to speak in different tenses about my topics of interest. I found her to be patient and attentive, and she was brilliant at directing the conversation. At the end of the class, Leire summarised all the good points and suggested improvement areas. She had made a note of all the corrections, and recommended techniques to improve. I came away feeling confident and am looking forward to the next class.
