Hi! I’m Kanna, a Japanese tutor from Japan.
I grew up in Nagasaki and have been living in Tokyo for over 20 years. I spent 18 years working at Google Japan and some other global companies, where I learned a lot about Japanese business culture and how it differs from other countries. I can help you learn business Japanese from a global perspective, as well as everyday conversational Japanese.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active and keeping fit, often going to the gym. I’m also passionate about reading mystery novels and watching Studio Ghibli films.عني كمعلّم

I know how challenging Japanese can be for non-native speakers, and I can help you find ways to remember it more easily.
If you are just starting to learn Japanese, we can also use English in our lessons to make things easier.

In my lessons, we usually use the Genki textbook as a base to build your grammar and vocabulary step by step.
I like to make lessons practical and interactive, so we often practice natural conversations using what you’ve just learned.
