Since 2010 I've empowered great learners through language learning - no matter the level! My name is Carolina, I'm from Brazil and I've always been fond of learning languages. I've been teaching teenagers and adults since 2010 and I have extensive professional experience in education, having worked in schools, language courses, and online teaching platforms. Currently, I'm a PhD student in Linguistics, I teach at a school in Lisbon and I also give online lessons to students from different countries. What I love most about being a teacher is that it doesn't feel like work; I have fun in every class with my students. Teaching comes naturally to me, and I enjoy sharing what I've learned with others. As a teacher, I plan my lessons based on my experience as an educator and academic researcher. I'm always working to reshape and innovate my teaching methods according to the latest scientific research in language learning and teaching. I collaborate closely with my students, giving them constructive feedback and identifying areas for improvement. This helps them develop strong communication skills and succeed in their exams. In conversation classes, we focus on developing the student's speaking skills while also improving their listening, reading, and writing abilities. In exam preparation classes, we do a lot of practice tests, analyze answers and corrections, and work on time management and completing questions. Carolina is a great teacher who explains the language very well. We have now reached lesson 6 of Minna no Nihongo and my progression is very noticeable. Looking forward to many more lessons to come.
