How are you? Thanks for taking me to be your guide in exploring Cantonese! I was born, educated and live in Hong Kong, so Cantonese is naturally my mother tongue. Like other hong kong kids, we have been learning English since kindergarten. My mandarin is conversational (enough for work :-D) I don't like learning languages in a boring and repetitive way so I won't do it when I teach ^^ My hobbies: reading, watching films, badminton, knitting and soapmaking ^^ I am currently learning French, and Vietnamese seems quite interesting ^^ I started teaching since the age of 19 in my university days. from 2016 I started teaching Cantonese online, after I obtained MA in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language. As there are no official classification of Cantonese proficiency level, we may roughly identify the levels in the following ways, and my materials correspond to each of them: A1: A2: B1: B2: C1: C2: nearly native :

已经和老师学习了29堂课，从完全零基础到现在可以进行各类简单话题的对话。老师的教学水平很高，非常有经验。谢谢老师！ I have taken 29 lessons with Alex. One and a half month ago, I was a absolute beginner. But now I am able to have a short Cantonese conversation about all kinds of daily topics. In this sense, I have reached the survival level as I hope. Alex is really a professional and experienced teacher. And she is super nice. Thank you so much!
