How are you? Thanks for taking me to be your guide in exploring Cantonese! I was born, educated and live in Hong Kong, so Cantonese is naturally my mother tongue. Like other hong kong kids, we have been learning English since kindergarten. My mandarin is conversational (enough for work :-D) I don't like learning languages in a boring and repetitive way so I won't do it when I teach ^^ My hobbies: reading, watching films, badminton, knitting and soapmaking ^^ I am currently learning French, and Vietnamese seems quite interesting ^^عني كمعلّم

I have taken 29 lessons with Alex. One and a half month ago, I was a absolute beginner. But now I am able to have a short Cantonese conversation about all kinds of daily topics. In this sense, I have reached the survival level as I hope. Alex is really a professional and experienced teacher. And she is super nice. Thank you so much!

This course is very helpful. Alexandra helped me to correct pronunciation, making conversation and reading passages in Cantonese. She actively jots down notes, even able to write down the correct pronunciation in google slides each time to keep track of progress. Highly recommended!
