I really enjoyed speaking with Torkil and I felt I had time to slowly build sentences. I didn't feel overwhelmed and appreciated his patience and speaking speed. I also loved the casual topics freedom. I entered the session feeling plateaued in my language journey, but I left feeling really optimistic about improving my norwegian and my fluency goals!

Torkil is an amazing teacher. He explains things clearly, with plenty of examples and insight into real spoken Norwegian. He's also very patient with all my questions at the beginning of every lesson :) Highly recommended!

Torkil is a gift sent from Norway. He is relaxed yet focused and a verfy good sense of humor. He is very patient and explains well, asking questions that make you think. I thoroughly enjoyed class two as well.

I had a great first lesson with Torkil! He is patient, attentive, and able to create an environment where I feel comfortable to make mistakes and expressing myself better in Norwegian. He helped me articulate things in a more natural way. He is also well-strucutured, and I appreciate the way he identified my areas for improvement and took some notes to help me learn.

Lessons are well structured and flow at the right pace for a total beginner like me. Recommending Torkil is running the risk of not finding an available time slot soon. This said I can whole heartedly recommend him. A very fine teacher indeed.
