I'm a CELTA-qualified English teacher from Australia, based in the UK for 10 years. I specialise in helping adults build knowledge, proficiency, and confidence through conversation and structured learning.
My interests include travel, food, history, psychology, art, fashion, languages, philosophy, and more—happy to chat about what you love.
I've taught since 2009 in the UK & Australia, adapting to all levels (beginner to advanced). I hold a Master's degree and do proofreading/copy-editing.
My style is friendly and supportive. I give clear corrections and ways to improve. I offer natural conversation or structured lessons with optional homework.
I am a highly qualified and experienced EFL teacher. I hold a CELTA certificate and began my professional teaching career in 2009, with an initial TESOL qualification.
My experience includes teaching at language schools in the UK and Australia—working with students at all proficiency levels. I adapt my approach to be supportive with beginners while providing the necessary challenge for advanced learners to progress.
In addition to my teaching expertise, I hold a Master’s degree and offer proofreading and copy-editing services for academic and business documents.
My style is open, friendly, and focused on getting you to speak comfortably. I always provide corrections and helpful feedback to help you improve.

As an introvert person I must say, sometimes is uneasy to find connections with you teacher and talk. However, Kathy has a gift to make you feel comfortable.
