Hi, my name is Ben! For over 6 months, I have taught fun, relaxed and completely personalized English lessons. To ensure you reach your goals fast, I provide practical feedback after each lesson. Naturalist FellowAs a naturalist, I taught students from a variety of age groups and abilities – from preschoolers to adults – about the wonders of the natural world. I delivered lessons with a focus on interactive and student-centered activities to public elementary school students while designing and delivering public education programs for multi-age audiences. Often I presented lessons in Spanish and English to enhance understanding for students in mixed-language classes.

For me, college Spanish courses that focused on text, audio and images from the real world were always the most engaging. I didn't just improve my Spanish skills, but learned the vital ingredients for learning a language effectively.

Education Activities CoordinatorFor two summers, I worked with the Summer Youth Corps program within the Conservation Corps of Minnesota and Iowa. The program emphasized career development for high schoolers through various natural resource projects across public lands in Minnesota. As the Education Activities Coordinator, I was responsible for developing and distributing learning materials to the various crews. Moreover, I managed the progress assessment for skills and knowledge of each member over the course of their term.

I've been searching for a teacher that will really help me with my pronunciation, not just tell me "its fine the way it is" or give me basic advice; I think I found that teacher. Ben is super professional and very kind, listens well and actually takes into account what you discuss. He also has a very pretty accent. Looking forward to more lessons with him!

I look forward to my lesson with Ben every week. We laugh a lot and have great conversations about anything. He always makes sure to structure the lessons in a way that helps me reach my goals and brings engaging materials to talk about.

Teacher Ben is an excellent teacher and very friendly. He gives you the time and space to reflect on and correct your own work, which is incredibly helpful for learning. At the same time, he offers plenty of encouragement, helping to build both your confidence and independence. I would highly recommend choosing teacher Ben.

I always enjoy my lessons with Ben. He makes sure we never run out of topics and easily goes with anything I bring to the class as well. I'm looking forward to our next class and recommend him to anyone who's thinking of improving their English.
