Hello, I’m Kazumi😊 Let me introduce myself. I’m from Gifu Prefecture, Japan, and I currently live in Aichi Prefecture. I also lived in Tokyo for over 10 years! I have more than 10 years of experience in singing and acting. I’ve won singing contests and appeared in Japanese dramas . I also have over 10 years of experience in the food service and sales industries ✨ People often describe me as cheerful, friendly, and easy to get along with😊 My hobbies are watching soccer and other sports, and enjoying delicious food. Currently, I teach Japanese to adults aged 18 and over, covering the basics, conversation, and useful Japanese for travel ✨Let’s study Japanese together😊

I have had a total of 3 lessons with Ms. Kazumi so far as well as others booked in advanced. Kazumi is professional, nice, easygoing, soft spoken and considerate. I enjoy her lessons that I hardly notice an hour has gone by. Lessons are done in Japanese, which I love because immersion is key, if I do have trouble she does communicate in English if I make any mistakes. I feel as I am getting a grasp on the Japanese language day by day along with the help of her instructions. I would highly recommend her if you are looking to start your Japanese language journey! I look forward to completing all of Genki 1, and continuing my Japanese language journey with Ms. Kazumi with Genki 2. ありがとうございますかずみさん！

I am loving my lessons so much! Really enjoy using the Genki textbook and notebook. I don’t have time to review materials throughout the week so I really like doing the homework. I hope to practice more katakana as well. We are reading more and I feel like I can somewhat understand Japanese better. Highly recommend!

We still use Genki textbook and the workbook for homework, which I am enjoying since it motivates me to review what was learned the previous lessons. I am up to the part where we are reading more. Kazumi-San is very patient and wait for me to think of my answers until I surrender on my own! Highly recommend.

I had my first Japanese lesson with Kazumi and it was a great experience. She was very friendly and patient. As it was my first time learning on iTalki and with a tutor, she made me feel comfortable and encouraged throughout the session. I’m looking forward to continuing lessons with her!

Update: I have been working with Kazumi-san for about 3 months now and I have learned a lot and my Japanese has improved immensely not only from the work bork as well as from the practice through immersion. We are almost finished with Genki 1 and I am looking forward to working with her on Genki 2! Lets put my studies to the test: かずみさんともう3ヶ月ぐらい勉強してますが、沢山学んで、日本語もすごく上達しました！もうすぐ「げんき１」が終わって、「げんき２」も一緒に勉強するのがたのしみです！
