Hello! I'm Nanette, a native German and English teacher with a passion for language education and arts and culture. I also taught myself to speak native-level Dutch after moving to the Netherlands many years ago. I have a Master's degree in Arts and Culture Studies from Leiden University, and have been working as a journalist for 5 years. In my spare time I love painting, pottery and generally anything creative.
I started tutoring French and English whilst still living in Germany, sparking my love for language. My experience of moving to the Netherlands and learning Dutch has deepened my appreciation for how languages connect people and cultures.عني كمعلّم
My teaching approach is patient, encouraging, and supportive, helping you feel comfortable and confident throughout your language-learning journey. I tailor each lesson to your individual goals whether you’re just starting out or aiming to take your German or English to the next level.
We’ll focus on key skills such as conversation and pronunciation to help you communicate naturally and effectively. I strive to create a positive and motivating atmosphere where you feel supported at every stage by building a strong foundation or engaging in advanced topical discussions. The focus is on active communication, with plenty of opportunities for you to speak and practice naturally.
